The short version

DROP THE DECK is a free VRChat world. This site offers a deck builder, save backups and sponsorships. Codes never give you cards, backups are a convenience, and sponsors buy fair time on the world’s LED screens after we review their art. Using the site means you agree to these terms. DROP THE DECK is not affiliated with VRChat Inc.

Deck builder

Setlist codes are free to share. A code never grants cards: in the world it only selects cards you already own.

Backups

Backups are a convenience, kept for up to 180 days (the newest 20 per account). One restore every 7 days per VRChat account. A restore never touches purchases or settings and forfeits rewards that were still unclaimed at that moment. A save only restores into the VRChat account that made it. We may refuse or roll back a restore that is used to duplicate rewards, exploit the game or restore into an account you don’t own.

Sponsorships

  • You buy time in a shared rotation of in-world LED screens, not a specific screen or location. Every live sponsor appears on every screen for the same time over each cycle; we can’t promise views or impressions.
  • Prices are per month. Your card is authorized at checkout and charged only when we approve your art. If we don’t approve it, the authorization is released and you pay nothing.
  • Monthly plans renew every month until you cancel; cancel any time from your status link and the ad stays until the end of the paid month. One-payment plans cover the 1 to 12 months you chose and never renew.
  • Refunds: approved payments are not refundable. Cancelling or taking an ad down early does not refund the time left; you can keep it up until the paid time ends. If we remove an ad, refunds are at our discretion.

Your content

You are responsible for the art and link you submit. By submitting them you confirm that:

  • you own them or have the rights to use them;
  • they follow the sponsor rules: fit for a 13+ world, with no sexual or suggestive content, hate, harassment, violence, gambling, drugs, crypto schemes or real-money trading of game items or accounts;
  • they are not illegal, deceptive or infringing, and don’t impersonate VRChat, DROP THE DECK or anyone else;
  • they follow VRChat’s Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.

Review and removal

We review every image and link by hand before it appears. We may reject or remove any ad or link at any time, including when it breaks these terms or doesn’t fit the world. Links are shown to players behind a “you’re leaving” notice; the linked site is yours, not ours.

Availability

The site, the world and the screens are provided as is. A VRChat world is outside our full control: if the world is offline or a screen can’t show your ad for reasons outside our control (VRChat outages, a player’s settings), that isn’t a breach. Planned downtime over 48 hours extends your term by the same time.

Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost game progress. Our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the month before the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date above always shows the latest version. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
